Skills for Care’s information team answers enquiries about workforce development relating to the Care Certificate, adult social care qualifications, setting up a care organisation, registered managers, careers, events and funding.

We also provide information to people who employ their own care and support and their personal assistants.

NMDS-SC

Skills for Care’s NMDS-SC support team answers questions/provides support to anyone wanting more information or advice about the National Minimum Data Set for Social Care. This ranges from “What is NMDS-SC?” to “How do I use dashboards?”. The team has a vast knowledge of using the system and no question is too small or indeed too complex.

The Social Care Commitment

Skills for Care’s Social Care Commitment support team answers questions/provides support to anyone wanting more information or advice about the Social Care Commitment. This can range from “How to Sign up?” to “How can I invite my employees? and covers all aspects of the website, registration and sign up process.

Apprenticeship Certification

Skill for Care’s Apprenticeship certification team answers enquiries about Adult Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Workforce Apprenticeship Frameworks. This includes queries about framework requirements, evidence queries and any queries regarding the issuing of the Apprenticeship completion certificate.

Our Endosement Team regularly visits organisations across England as part of this process.  Due to this fact, please allow 3 to 5 working days for specialist enquiries to be responded to.

Skills for Care’s finance team answers enquiries on general finance matters.  This includes answering questions in regards to payments made to and from Skills for Care and related invoices.  

The finance team are responsible for the set-up of new suppliers and provide the forms for this to suppliers. Similarly we can complete applications to open accounts with new customers.
