Your future and mine: Managing a service, leading a workforce

An event about delivering effective Adult Social Care services in a challenging time.  The South West Skill for Care Team are delighted to announce that we will be hosting an event for employers across the region. This face to face event will be full of exciting updates, opportunities to network, information from sector experts and much, much more. The event will focus on managing a service and leading a workforce, particularly through times when political, economical, social, technological, legal and environmental issues bring many challenges, but also present many opportunities. Delegates will: Hear about the current Government reform plans, including the care certificate qualification and the care workforce pathway, and have the opportunity to consider and discuss the impact it will have on individual organisations. Get the opportunity to consider ways to attract and nurture the workforce of the future, including how to be a flexible employer and develop pipelines. Consider what opportunities digital working and learning will bring and how to get the most out of what is available. Be able to take part in tabletop discussions and break out workshops to hear about practical solutions and ways of working to successfully manage a service and lead a workforce.
