If you upload your information to the National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC) and you give permission, your information will be shared with CQC to help complete the PIR and inform inspections.

The NMDS-SC is a great way of comparing your organisation with others across the sector and helps us to learn more about the adult social care workforce, such as how many workers you have on average, or how much they are being paid.

Our easy to use Good and outstanding care guide gives a view of what really good care and support is, and critically how to make it happen.

The guide showcases different approaches to achieving best practice, including recommendations and practical examples across 25+ topics closely linked to the CQC inspection process.

It looks at the various ways that services rated as good and outstanding plan for inspection, deliver the care that is needed and celebrate their achievements.

If you feel like you need a little bit of extra help, we can offer you tailored in-house support to deliver practical solutions around CQC workforce requirements.
