If you’re a grant holder for an employer led partnership responsible for the disbursal of the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) you’ll find some useful information and resources on this page.
Making a claim for WDF
How to put together a Workforce Development Fund (WDF) claim 2016/17 will support you to make a claim.
Grant holders can access the funds in their grant agreement by making a claim to Skills for Care.
You must complete a claims submission form for every claim made.
Grant milestones for 2016-17
Funding claims need to be submitted to Skills for Care by the grant holder in line with the grant milestones:
- 30 June 2016 - 10% of grant claimed
- 30 September 2016 - 30% of grant claimed
- 28 November 2016 - 50% of grant claimed
- 30 January 2017 - 70% of grant claimed
- 31 March 2017 - 100% of grant claimed

National Minimum Data Set for Social Care (NMDS-SC) offer of support
Some successful grant holders invest a significant amount of time in supporting their members to comply with the NMDS-SC requirements for WDF, whilst others refer members to the Skills for Care NMDS-SC Support Service.
The NMDS-SC offers of support for partnerships has been developed to outline how Skills for Care can support you to help your members complete the NMDS-SC as required.
