We are running two seminars.

 

Recruiting for values in adult social care – interviewing for values, behaviours and attitudes 

For managers who want to improve staff performance, lower staff turnover and provide a positive return on investment, research suggests that taking a values based approach to recruitment and retention is a powerful approach.

What will delegates get from the day?

You’ll leave the course with some very practical and immediately useable interviewing skills and techniques to use when recruiting staff as well as an action plan for how to implement values based recruitment into your organisation.

The details

The seminar will be a full day (usually 09.00 – 16.00) and will include refreshments and lunch. The cost to attend is £150 +VAT* per delegate. We advise that delegates also attend Finding the right people for your organisation, and if booked together, delegates can attend both seminars for £300 +VAT (instead of £330 +VAT).

*Please note, some seminars have been subsidised by local councils and will therefore be offered at a discounted rate. Only care providers from that area may attend these seminars in the first instance.

Finding the right people for your organisation

Recruitment can be an expensive job. But if you take the time to find the right people initially, you could save yourself unnecessary costs in the future by cutting your turnover rate.

You’ll learn different techniques to help you identify the key attributes to look for in your ideal candidate, and how you can target your recruitment activities to reach them. This will ensure that the staff you recruit meet the needs of the people you support and your wider community.
