The ASYE for child and family services

Skills for Care are supporting employers of child and family services to complete the ASYE.

We support employers of social workers in local authorities, the NHS and the private and voluntary sectors to meet their workforce needs and to embed the Standards for Employers which were introduced by the Social Work Reform Board.

Working in partnership with the Department for Education we help employers of newly qualified social workers to implement and embed the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)

Employers of all social workers who care for adults are further supported through a range of other activities and projects, which include employing social workerscontinuing to develop social workers, leadership and management and Action Learning facilitation.

We also facilitate partnership working between employers and universities at a national and local level.
