Skills Enhancement Fund
The Skills Enhancement Fund is a £50m resource aimed at engaging employers in Yorkshire and Humber to invest in skills development and therefore increase the skills base in the region. Click on the link below for further information.
Summary of Funding
Funding to support the cost of QCF Awards for social care employers in Yorkshire and the Humber
The Skills Enhancement Fund currently has funding (via Framework ETS0099) that can support 50% of the cost of QCF Awards (that can lead on to the Diploma in Health and Social Care at level 2 and 3). Examples of these Awards are: L2 and L3 Award in Awareness of Dementia; L2 and L3 Award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities; L3 Award in Supporting Activities Provision in Social Care. Training Providers offering these 50% funded QCF Awards should then encourage social care employers to claim back money towards the cost of the employer contribution through the Skills for Care Workforce Development Fund (WDF) Partnerships, as units of the QCF Awards are achieved.
