e-Learning resources for adult social care
Programmes to support, supplement or replace traditional routes of learning
There are a range of e-learning programmes that can currently be accessed free, available for staff, managers and trainers in adult social care.
The document below contains information on a range of programmes relevant to the adult social work and social care sector. Some programmes are specialist others are generic.
They can be used directly by workers wishing to increase their knowledge or prepare for a training course. They can also be used by training managers and trainers as part of their training delivery. They have been mapped across to units of the new Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Free dementia e-learning now available
The Department of Health have recently produced through e-Learning for Healthcare, programmes to develop people who are supporting people with dementia. The modules are available to all social care providers who are registered on the National Minimum Data Set-Social Care (NMDS-SC). For further information please click here.
