Summary

The government expects adult social care employers of all types to take the issue of violence against workers seriously and to have in place effective measures to reduce risks and deal positively with any incidents that occur.

This guide and the other resources included or sign posted on this site are designed to help employers, in a very practical way, to meet these responsibilities. Much excellent practice exists and some of it is highlighted on this site so that others can replicate it or adapt for their particular needs as required.
