1000 Voices
Skills for Care has launched its '1000 Voices' report making sure the views of employers was heard in the Big Care Debate around the 'Shaping the Future of Care Together' Green Paper.
The proposals outlined in the Green Paper could see the biggest changes in our sector for generations which is why Skills for Care our own consultation exercise to canvass the views of at least 1000 adult social care employers.
The '1000 Voices' report was formally launched at our Parliamentary Reception with copies sent to the Prime Minister, Ministers, Shadow Ministers and senior civil servants.
"This was a major opportunity for our sector to influence thinking at Westminster about the shape and funding of adult social care and we were delighted that so many social care employers told us what they thought," says Professor David Croisdale-Appleby.
