Foundation Degrees
What are they?
A nationally recognised higher education qualification at level 4 & 5.
Funded by the Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFCE) and quality monitored in accordance with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAAHE) requirements.
An employer-led qualification offering a way of developing and delivering learning to meet workforce development needs, incorporating the development of skills in the workplace.
Programmes that foster innovation in learning. Learning 'in work', learning 'for work' and learning at times and in ways that meet employer and employee needs.
