Feedback on draft units for new qualifications
As part of the development of new qualifications, Skills for Care would like feedback on a sample of draft units being developed across different qualifications. This will build on the consultation already undertaken through our Sector Skills Agreement and Sector Qualification Strategy work, the development of National Occupational Standards (NOS), Knowledge Sets and other appropriate standards.
The new qualifications must be of high standards, reflect current best practice and meet sector need and requirements for registration and regulation.
As part of this quality assurance process, Skills for Care regularly seek feedback from employers, training providers, learners and people who use services and carers on the draft units at a very early stage. Participants are normally asked to review draft materials against tight criteria and within a prescribed timescale in order to meet deadlines for development.
There are currently no units for consultation.
