NQSW SCIE online resource

This resource has been developed by SCIE in partnership with Skills for Care to support NQSWs in adult services in their first year in practice.

Designed around the 12 outcome statements of the NQSW framework in adult services, the resource has been created to support learning and reflective development that will help NQSWs build a solid foundation to practice with confidence.

The resource:

• suggests ways for social workers to produce evidence to satisfy the outcome statements
• encourages NQSWs to develop ongoing learning through knowledge-based practice
• links to current policy and legislation
• supports formal supervision, preparation for new tasks, debriefing and learning from early experience in practice

The resource provides quick and easy access to:

• relevant policy and legislation

It also helps to establish a portfolio of learning.
