NQSW evaluation reports
NQSW framework evaluation 2009/10
Skills for Care is happy to have received this NQSW projects evaluation report, commissioned from Spirit Research & Evaluation Ltd. The report has been made available to the Social Work Reform Board as it informs a number of areas of their work which we and other partners are contributing to.
Getting a good start: evaluation of the first year of the NQSW framework for adult services, 2009/10
Evaluation of 'Qualifications & Accredited Learning' and 'Manager's Supervision and Mentor Skills' development projects, March 2011
This report presents findings of the independent evaluation of ten projects who were awarded Skills for Care funding to facilitate the delivery of developmental programmes in support of the implementation and further development of the Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) Framework in adult social services.
It is intended to build capacity and improve implementation of current NQSW activity, inform the work of the Social Work Reform Board, including the development of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and contribute to other reform proposals including those linked to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and social work manager development.
