Evaluation of 'Qualifications & Accredited Learning' and 'Manager's Supervision and Mentor Skills' development projects, March 2011

This report presents findings of the independent evaluation of ten projects who were awarded Skills for Care funding to facilitate the delivery of developmental programmes in support of the implementation and further development of the Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) Framework in adult social services.

It is intended to share the learning of projects which were designed to build capacity and improve implementation of current NQSW activity; and inform the work of the Social Work Reform Board, including the development of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and contribute to other reform proposals including those linked to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Front Line Manager training.
