Skills for Care is working with partners to deliver the popular 'Leadership for Empowered Communities and Personalised Care Programme' (LECPC), and applications for the programme are now open.
The programme is for senior leaders, clinicians, transformation leads, commissioning and service managers in health, social care, the voluntary sector and beyond who want to be part of a movement for change in public services.
Participants will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to ensure that people get choice and control over the way their care is planned and delivered, based on ‘what matters’ to them. They'll explore the role of local ‘social capital’ in improving health and how leaders can work with citizens to shape the services and communities that people need and want.
The programme involves a series of one-day workshops (one of which is residential), action learning sets, one-to-one leadership coaching sessions, a Myers-Briggs (MBTI) analysis of personality style and a specialist 360-degree feedback diagnostic.
Applications for the programme close on Friday 6 September 2019.
