Skills for Care Accolades finalists announced

Posted on Friday 14th December 2018

Skills for Care has announced the finalists for their prestigious Accolades awards celebrating excellence in workforce development for the 1.47 million people who work in adult social care across England.

The Accolades are open to all of the more than 21000 organisations who offer adult social care services in England and the finalists will find out if they have won at the national awards ceremony in London on Thursday 31 January 2019 hosted by TV dance star Anton du Beke.

Skills for Care CEO Sharon Allen said: “Once again competition in the categories has been fierce, and the judging panels made up of people with huge amounts of experience had some tough choices to make in selecting the shortlists.

“All our finalists have done exceptionally well to make the shortlist in their category which are open to thousands of employers. It has been inspiring to hear how in all sorts of different ways they have invested in their staff because they know by doing that they can deliver high quality services that enhance the lives of the people they work with.”
