Large national organisations and lead organisations of employer-led partnerships can now apply for a grant from the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) 2021-22.

The WDF is money, from the government, to help adult social care employers towards the cost of developing their workforce. This investment is critical to ensure workers are equipped with the right skills and knowledge to be competent and confident in their roles.

The WDF will continue to provide enhanced funding for completion of leadership and management qualifications, learning programmes and digital learning modules. The funding will support registered managers and other frontline managers with their continuing professional development, ensuring that they’re able to access learning opportunities to continue to develop their knowledge and skills to effectively lead and support the workforce through the pandemic.

Tendering is being undertaken subject to confirmation of funding from the Department of Health and Social Care. To apply for a grant you must act now… the deadline for applications is 13:00 on Thursday 1 April 2021.
