Tender opportunity - testing a sector based work academy approach to recruiting PAs

The number of people employing personal assistants (PAs) is increasing, and we need to find more people, who have the right values, to do these roles.

Skills for Care (on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England) is inviting applications to test a sector based work academy approach, with the aim of increasing the number of people who are ready to work or working as a PA.

Limited funding is available for each successful project and applicants will be expected to consist of or bring together a consortium of organisations and individuals.

Read the specification in the application form to find out more about what the sector based work academy programme should include.

How can I apply?

It's essential that you read the specification before completing the application form.

To apply for funding you need to complete this application form and submit it to pa.framework@skillsforcare.org.uk.

Closing date for applications is 12pm (midday) on Monday 09 July 2018. Applications received after this time will not be considered.

Applicants will be told about the funding outcome during August 2018. If required, pre-contract negotiations will take place before contracts are issued.

Questions?

Any questions regarding applications should be emailed to pa.framework@skillsforcare.org.uk before the application deadline.
