Department of Health and Social Care's national recruitment campaign workshop
With a turnover rate of 30% and over 110,000 vacancies at any one time, there is no doubt that we need to attract more people into adult social care. By 2035 Skills for Care estimates that we’ll need another 650,000 people by 2035.
To help achieve this, the Department of Health and Social Care has piloted a recruitment campaign to help raise the profile of the sector and pending results will aim to run this nationally in early 2019. This campaign will talk about what it means to work in adult social care and to encourage people from all walks of life who have the right values, to consider a career in social care.
This is a series of events, with the same information given at each location.
The workshops are being hosted on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care and attendance is fully funded.
