Department of Health and Social Care's national recruitment campaign workshop

With a turnover rate of 30% and over 110,000 vacancies at any one time, there is no doubt that we need to attract more people into adult social care. By 2035 Skills for Care estimates that we’ll need another 650,000 people by 2035.

To help achieve this, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is running a national recruitment campaign to help raise the profile of the sector. The campaign will talk about what it means to work in adult social care and to encourage people from all walks of life who have the right values, to consider a career in social care.

We’re hosting a series of events for employers on behalf of DHSC so you can find out what the campaign is, how to use the campaign materials and what you can get out of it to help with your recruitment challenges.

The same information is provided at each location and attendance is fully funded.

Please note these events are directed at residential and domiciliary care providers. The language used throughout the workshops may not suit individual employers, though they are welcome to attend.
