Digital learning for managers

We’ve developed 11 digital modules for aspiring, new or experienced leaders and managers to develop their skills in leadership, succession planning and developing future talent.

The 11 modules were developed from the Manager Induction Standards and cover the following topics:

  • Leadership and Management
  • Governance and regulatory processes
  • Person-centred practice for positive outcomes
  • Resources
  • Manage self
  • Decision making
  • Communication
  • Relationships and partnership working
  • Entrepreneurial skills and innovation
  • Safeguarding, protection and risk
  • Professional development, supervision
    and performance management

Each interactive module will support the learner to increase knowledge, build confidence in the workplace and provide opportunity to reflect on their own work. They’ll encourage the learner to implement their learning in the workplace and improve on their own practice and drive change. The modules also provide extended learning opportunities by sign-posting out to further information to help develop strong leadership skills.

Module duration:
The modules will take between 20 to 40 minutes to complete and this can be done at a time and a pace to suit the learner. They’re simple and engaging to follow and are relevant across different services and settings.

  • Price per single module: £10
  • Package deal price (full module suite): £75 (saving £35)

Employers can claim £50 per completed module from the Workforce Development Fund. This funding contributes towards the cost of the digital learning, the employees time required to complete the module, and the time taken to apply and embed the learning within their organisation.
