Our Delivering Excellence in Adult Social Care: Better Lives Programme 2021-2024, will support us to deliver our vision with our citizens and workforce, aligned to our ambition to "work with people to identify their strengths and helps them realise their potential to live healthy, safe and independent lives in their communities". Our development and implementation of a Health and Social Care Workforce Academy will address short and long-term health and care workforce challenges, ensuring these are aligned to regional and national health and social are workforce strategies. This will include working closely with our independent care sector and partners to develop a training and development offer that creates and promotes career pathways across health and social care and the adult social care sector.
