Applications can be made by individual local authorities or on behalf of a group of local authorities. Where an application is made on behalf of a group of local authorities, one organisation will need to be the lead organisation. The lead organisation can either be a local authority or a legal entity which represents a group of local authorities such as ADASS. A learning provider or consultant can't apply on behalf of a group of local authorities.
Funding is only available to support this qualification through approved awarding organisations and endorsed learning providers. For more information see the application form guidance.
