Building and growing your workforce

Throughout July and August, we’re shining the spotlight on #BuildingYourWorkforce and growing your team.

We’ll be sharing resources, information, blogs and articles and inspiration to help you to plan who you need in your organisation, to find and attract people with the right values and behaviours to join your team, and to develop the workforce you currently have.

It’s vital that your workforce not only has enough people but the people with the right values and behaviours to provide quality care. That’s why using values-based recruitment and recruiting in innovative ways is key to growing a secure and successful team both now and in the future.

Looking after your team, both during induction and throughout their time with you is also important in building a team that will stay with you for the long term.

Research has shown that the first 90 days of employment are vital in ensuring the members of your workforce feel confident and valued in their new role, and those who have a positive induction experience are more likely to stay.

Blogs and articles

Keep an eye out for our blogs and articles throughout the next two months! We will be sharing advice and real-life examples of different recruitment and retention initiatives in action.
