Individual employer funding

The individual employer fund has closed. Alternative training will be available through user led organisation programmes from September 2026.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) will continue to support the training of individual employers, personal assistants and self-employed personal assistants, through the 2026-27 user-led organisations (ULO) fund.

The ULOs / disabled people’s organisations (DPOs) fund will be administered by NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (formerly administered by Skills for Care).

Successful ULOs and DPOs will be able to deliver their tailored training in September 2026.
