From time to time we have tender opportunities available to support our work.

We have two tender opportunities open:

Research to explore recruitment and retention in adult social care, within and across systems

This is an exciting tender opportunity for a supplier to conduct research that identifies best practice, potential barriers and proposed solutions in recruitment and retention at a provider and system level. This will include exploration of the connections / interrelations between these levels (e.g. what must be “true” at one level to maximise the impact of a change made at the other) and the development of a series of models (to include a hypothesis / theory of change, as well as interventions) for the delivery of pilots or activity within a given geography or footprint in future years.

Please email evidence@skillsforcare.org.uk to request a copy of the ITT or with any questions relating to this tender. All bids must be submitted by noon on Monday 29 September 2025.

You can find responses to the clarification questions raised here. The deadline for clarification questions has now passed.

Please note that shortlisted applicants may be invited to an online interview, which we anticipate will take place on the morning of Friday 3 October 2025.

Content Creation for eLearning Modules

Skills for Care invites suppliers to tender for an exciting opportunity to develop up to 21 innovative eLearning modules and short-form-content, using course material provided by our team. Some of these modules may have multiple components.

We're seeking a partner who can deliver interactive, engaging and high-quality online learning with a strong focus on accessibility, learner experience and outcomes. The successful supplier will demonstrate expertise in creating eLearning that incorporates a range of interactive elements, such as video, animation, audio, voiceovers, gamifications, scenarios, assessments and branching, to captivate and support learners. An understanding of adult social care workforce development is required, as is the ability to translate our content into impactful digital learning experiences.

To request a copy of the ITT, please email julie.bennett@skillsforcare.org.uk

If you have any questions about this opportunity, submit them to julie.bennett@skillsforcare.org.uk no later than 17:00 on Friday 3 October 2025. Please specify your name, job title and organisation.

All completed bids must be submitted by 17:00 on Thursday 9 October 2025

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an online interview, which we anticipate will take place during the week commencing 20 October 2025.
