Launch event for state of report - Wednesday 13 October 2021

As part of the launch of our latest State of the adult social care sector and workforce in England report, we held a virtual launch event which was attended by many of our key partners.

Oonagh Smyth introduced the main findings from the report and we also had a couple of guest speakers:

• Isaac Samuels, Co-production advisor and the Co-Chair of the Working Group of the All-Party Group on Adult Social Care who offered his reflections on the report as an individual employer.
• Damian Furniss, Senior Manager for Strategy, Policy, Performance and Involvement, Devon County Council, who talked about how the council use our data to tackle the significant issues in the South West.
