If you're working in a leadership or management role in social care you're not only responsible for supporting those who need care and support, but for taking care of your staff and influencing the quality of care across the sector.

On this part of our website, you can find information on our leadership programmes for registered managers, together with tools to enable you to develop a positive workplace culture for your staff and support their development through effectively managing people's performance. You'll also find information on how to develop your leadership capacity if you're a new or aspiring director in social care, or if you're already a senior leader.
There’s also information on our practical resources designed to support you with workforce planning and development for social work leaders and managers, as well as resources to help you meet CQC standards.
Registered managers play a key role in raising quality standards.
