This page presents Skills for Care’s estimate of the number of people starting direct care providing roles in the adult social care independent sector. These estimates have been weighted to represent the whole number of starters in the sector in each quarter.
The base for each quarter is lower than we have available for our annual estimates so the quarterly figures should be treated as estimates rather than precise counts.
