Skills for Care publishes latest workforce figures

The adult social care sector employs 1.47 million people. Skills for Care has published two workforce reports presenting a detailed overview of the adult social care workforce in England. The 'State of' and 'Size of' offer a comprehensive breakdown and analysis of the 1.47 million strong workforce by age, gender, location, pay and organisation type.
