In their words: how providers achieved national recognition by putting the strategy into action
We’re thrilled to have achieved the Skills for Care Gold Standards Framework commendation, recognising the work our teams are doing to support student nurses and nursing associates across our social care services.
The framework was simple and straightforward to follow, it took some work to ensure we achieved the standards, but the criteria setting out and the information was fantastic and enabled us to create an action plan to work towards.
The commendation highlights our quality supportive learning opportunities and strong partnerships with education providers so students can develop their skills and experience.
It also recognises something that matters to us: amplifying social care nursing as a rewarding and valued career, while playing our part in developing the next generation of the nursing workforce.
