Adult Social Care: Skills into Action - Building Partnerships and Commitments

This event is part of the North Region Adult Social Care Skills Summit Series and will explore building partnerships and commitments in the sector.

Overview

As the first event in a two-part North Region series, the summit will create opportunities for attendees to learn from one another, share experiences and explore approaches being taken across different areas. The second summit in March 2027 will provide a chance to revisit emerging themes, celebrate progress and continue the conversation.

This summit brings together adult social care employers, education providers and workforce partners from across the North Region to share insight, explore current priorities and discuss opportunities to strengthen the workforce.

Learning outcomes

Drawing on sector insight and intelligence, national and local skills priorities, and examples of partnership working across the North Region, attendees will:

• explore current workforce challenges and opportunities
• consider how we can support a skilled, confident and capable workforce for the future
• share experiences of workforce development and learning
• identify opportunities for collaboration
