- Cohort one: Thursday 4 June, Thursday 11 June, Thursday 18 June, Thursday 25 June, Thursday 2 July and Thursday 30 July
- Cohort two: Thursday 22 October, Thursday 29 October, Thursday 5 November, Thursday 12 November, Thursday 19 November and Thursday 17 December

Overview
This training is for ASYE coordinators who have started the role within the last 12 months to understand more about the ASYE programme, how it works and what your role is. The training will also use a peer reflective supervision approach to aid problem-solving issues experienced in your role.

- to better understand your role and responsibilities
- analyse your programme with peers to aid continual improvement processes
- how to support NQSWs and assessors where the NQSW is not progressing as expected to the ASYE standard
- better understand the ASYE assessment and the role of evidence in the assessment process
- how to make effective use of internal and external moderation panels to support quality assurance
- learn what sources of support there are for ASYE coordinators.
Who should attend?
New ASYE coordinators from adult services who have been in the role for less than 12 months.
How it’s delivered
There are 15 places available in each cohort. The training will be delivered as six half day sessions via Teams.
To make the most of the training, you'll be asked to undertake some preparation work ahead of each session and you will need to commit to attending all the sessions.
