Overview

If your service has been rated Requires Improvement or Inadequate, this focused three‑hour session will give you the clarity, structure and practical support you need to recover your rating.

You’ll begin by building a structured recovery plan, explore what high-quality care looks like in practice, and gain practical guidance to help you demonstrate measurable progress - both internally and to the CQC.

Whether the rating came from a CQC assessment or an internal mock review, this seminar will help you identify what’s going wrong, understand how to evidence meaningful improvement, and take practical, achievable steps to raise standards across your service.

Learning outcomes

  • A clear understanding of why your service received its rating

  • How to make the improvements and embed a culture of change

  • A structured improvement plan to guide your recovery and raise care standards

  • Confidence in leading improvements and preparing for future assessments

  • A practical toolkit covering key learning and activities to use in the workplace.

I learned about what the changes to inspection are, and how we can prepare and enhance provision to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating. It gave me a lot to think about and how to prepare.
