Overview
We’re pleased to invite you to our fifth annual national event for nominated individuals (NIs), with this year’s focus on the Care Workforce Pathway, a comprehensive framework designed to clearly define careers in adult social care, detailing the knowledge, skills, values and behaviours essential for delivering high-quality, personalised care and support.
Skills for Care’s Care Workforce Pathway Implementation Team will introduce the Pathway, outline future developments (including new role categories, such as the NI role), and highlight resources available to support organisations with their own adoption of the Pathway.
The DHSC will join us to speak about the importance of the Pathway and its links to the Fair Pay Agreement (FPA).
This event will feature contributions from early adopters and pioneers of the Pathway who will share their experiences of implementing it in their organisations. You’ll hear more about the benefits of adoption and the pivotal role NIs play in driving change within their organisations.
The event will close with regional break-out discussions with Skills for Care colleagues, offering further peer support and an opportunity to ask questions.
This is a valuable opportunity for NIs and sector leaders to engage, learn, and shape the future of care workforce development.
