What to expect

We’ll be exploring the topic of AI technology, including generative AI, and its impact on personal assistants in adult social care. You’ll hear from:

Jacqui Darlington, her personal experience supporting family members and raising a young person who requires daily assistance, she brings valuable insight to our work.

Isaac Samuels, an individual employer who employs PAs to support living an ordinary life. Isaac champions for co-production helping people with lived experience shape the systems that serve them.

We’ll also be going through:

  • Guidance, resources and support currently available for PAs through Skills for Care, including our Individual Employer and Personal Assistant (IEPA) Toolkit.
  • Our plans and activities for the year ahead.
  • Learning and development opportunities available to PAs.
