Charity TuVida, which provides support for adults and children across the UK, has worked with Epping Forrest Rotary Club to provide Christmas hampers to their local community.

The hampers included tea, coffee, sugar, Christmas cake, tinned fruit and other tinned foods, plus a bottle of tonic water and box of quality streets. Each hamper also contained a Christmas cracker and Christmas card from the president of the Epping Forrest Rotary Club.

Epping Forrest Rotary Club have been supporting TuVida with hampers for over 10 years. This started with a local fundraising activity to provide the people who TuVida support in the community with a little extra treat at Christmas, especially for those who live alone, reducing isolation of hardship.

Alain Bompeti (Regional Manager South) at TuVida stated:

The continued support of the Epping Forest Rotary Club is very much appreciated by TuVida, and the beneficiaries of the hampers. We support some of our local community’s most vulnerable people who really are appreciative of the hampers, especially as we come into winter and with the cost of living crisis, this has a great impact.
