After 12 months of taking positive action to support climate projects around the world, the team has offset 174.42 tonnes of CO2e.

They helped to reduce 3.53 tonnes of CO2e through the Cleaner Cookstoves project in Zambia and Ghana, while supporting the production of energy from waste rice husks in India has reduced 10.6 tonnes of CO2e. The team have also supported the small scale onshore wind project in India which produces energy from wind, and has reduced 22.6 tonnes of CO2e from the atmosphere. But what do these numbers mean?

The 174.42 tonnes of CO2e the team reduced use of is equivalent to that produced by 134 long haul flights, and 432,736 miles driven in the average car.

This next year Dynamo is continuing to work with environmental organisation Ecologi to continue their ‘Carbon positive journey’, and will be taking action in their local areas, starting this month when the team will be visiting Penzance to plant some trees.

Working towards being a sustainable business is a core value for Dynamo and we’re so pleased that we’ve reached this milestone.
