LDC Care Co were delighted to receive a Chief Nurse Adult Social Care Award following a visit from Deborah Sturdy.
LDC Care Co were delighted to welcome Deborah Sturdy, Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care, to their head office to discuss career development opportunities for overseas workers.
Continued professional development benefits not only the employee, but also the people they’re supporting and the services they provide.
The event also provided Deborah with an opportunity to see first-hand some of the care provided by our LDC’s support staff each and every day.
Staff shared with Deborag their own personal experiences and journeys, as well as their ambitions for their futures.
Following on from the visit, Deborah LDC Care Co were awarded a Chief Nurse Adult Social Care Award for Celebrating Nursing Excellence in Care Settings.
The organisation is very proud of this accolade, and have enjoyed sharing this with the various teams across the business.
Deborah Sturdy said:
It was an absolute privilege to meet the team and the fantastic people living in [the service]. It is the best part of my job to be out and about and listening to the real challenges with people who are prepared to be open and honest.”
