Help us develop a digital skills framework self-assessment for people working in adult social care.

Online

Register your interest to join one of our three user groups Skills for Care is working in partnership with the Digital Care Hub, Partners for Care and Health and Oxford Brookes to develop two digital self-assessment tools for adult social care, to support people in identifying what learning, training and resources they need when using technology in the delivery of care. These initiatives are part of a wider programme of work funded by the NHS Transformation Directorate (NHSTD) and Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). We're developing a self-assessment for the  Digital Skills Framework where people working in social care can self-assess their digital knowledge and skills against the framework, and identify what areas of learning and skills they could further develop in their roles and in the delivery of care. We would like to co-produce this tool with employers and stakeholders across the adult social care sector, to ensure they reflect the insights, perspectives and priorities of people working in care. Opportunity to get involved - join one of our three user groups We are holding a series of interactive user groups in October and November (taking place on Zoom) for people to come together and help review and develop our self-assessments, so they meet the needs of people within the sector in delivering care.  Each group will be focusing on developing parts of the self assessment: You can register your interest in joining one of these user groups via the 'register' link on this page. Please note that you can only join one of the three user groups but can give a preference if you register your interest for more than one group.
