Overview

At this all-day in-person event we will raise awareness of the reforms and explore how we expect they will affect autistic people, people who have a learning disability, and their families, and the communities and the services that support them. 

Although at this point, we await the bill progressing through parliament, this event will explore what the current bill looks like and help us all prepare together.  

We will hear from people who have experience of the Mental Health Act in their lives and work. They will talk about the expected changes that the bill will bring about. There will be opportunities to explore how the reforms are likely to affect your work and to network with colleagues to get ready for the changes.
