Our learning programmes are exclusively available for endorsed providers to buy on licence and deliver.

Developed to meet the needs of the sector, endorsed providers will be provided with a digital pack containing a comprehensive suite of resources to deliver the programme or module. See below to find out more about each programme, the pricing structure and how you can apply for a programme licence(s).

Please note these licences are funded on the Workforce Development Fund.

 

Leadership and management learning programmes

All programmes can be purchased on a two year licence agreement, exclusively available for endorsed providers, subject to renewal of endorsement during this period. Endorsed providers will be provided with a digital pack containing a comprehensive suite of resources to deliver the programme or module. Find out more about each learning module

  • Offer 1: purchase 2 learning programme licences together for £5,000 +VAT, saving £1,000 (excl. VAT) off the individual listed prices.

Learning programmes 

Lead to Succeed

A practical learning programme aimed at aspiring managers and deputies in adult social care services.

Delivered through five interactive modules, participants will gain an understanding of:

  • successful behaviours for leaders and managers
  • developing a positive culture and effective supervision
  • leading and managing the process of change and the inspection proces

Dimensions is a not-for-profit organisation supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs. They identified the ‘Lead to Succeed’ programme as an appropriate and valuable addition to their development pathway.

 

I have a deputy manager who works closely with me. She had not been a deputy manager before so, to help her development, she undertook the Lead to succeed and really enjoyed this learning programme

Well-led

A practical leadership development programme aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

Delivered through four interactive modules, participants will gain an understanding of:

  • what well-led looks like in a care setting
  • how leadership strategies and techniques can be used to transform services and improve the quality of care
  • necessary skills needed to lead services in a complex and challenging context
  • goals and commitment to improve your personal leadership effectiveness
  • others experiences by working with them in a range of collaborative learning activities and networking opportunities.

Leading Change Improving Care

Leading Change Improving Care is a practical leadership development programme aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

Delivered through five interactive modules and are usually delivered over a four month period, enabling learning from each module to be put into practice between sessions.

Understanding performance management 

A practical continuing professional development (CPD) module aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

Delivered over one day through one interactive model, participants will gain an understanding of:

  • performance management cycle including processes for managing different types of performance
  • disciplinary and grievance, causes of poor performance and how to minimise them
  • strategies to improve performance, cultures that encourage confidence and managing and retaining a high performing workforce.
  • giving feedback and manage difficult conversations as well as effective role modelling, coaching and mentoring.

Understanding self-management skills

A practical CPD module aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

Delivered through one interactive module participants will gain an understanding of:

  • the impact of your own beliefs and values
  • self-management, self-awareness and confidence, integrity and how actions & words influence others
  • cultures that foster resilience
  • emotional intelligence and dealing with pressure and stress using well-being strategies including delegation
  • awareness of time management, techniques and tools.

Understanding Workplace Culture

A practical CPD module aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

Delivered through one interactive module participants will gain an understanding of:

  • what culture is and the relationship between culture, values and vision
  • approaches for assessing culture and steering action and rules for turning values into action
  • nudge as applied to head, heart and environment as well as a range of nudge activities for developing culture.
