Our learning programmes are exclusively available for endorsed providers to buy on licence and deliver.

Developed to meet the needs of the sector. Endorsed providers will be provided with a digital pack containing a comprehensive suite of resources to deliver the programme or module.Click on the links below to find out more about each programme, the pricing structure and how you can apply for a programme licence(s). Please note these licences are funded on the Workforce Development Fund 

 

Leadership and management learning programmes

All programmes can be purchased on a two year licence agreement, exclusively available for endorsed providers, subject to renewal of endorsement during this period. Endorsed providers will be provided with a digital pack containing a comprehensive suite of resources to deliver the programme or module.

  • Lead to Succeed: £3,000 +VAT
  • Well-led:  £3,000 +VAT
  • Leading Change Improving Care (LCIC): £2,500 +VAT
  • Understanding Performance Management: £600 +VAT
  • Understanding Self-management Skills: £600 +VAT
  • Understanding Workplace Culture: £600 +VAT

  • Offer 1: purchase 2 learning programme licences together for the discounted price of £5,000 +VAT, saving you £1,000 (excl. VAT) off the individual listed prices.

The programme is delivered through five interactive modules covering the objectives below:

Dimensions is one of the country’s largest not-for-profit organisations supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs. As part of their focus in 2019-20 on bolstering management development, they identified the ‘Lead to Succeed’ programme as an appropriate and valuable addition to their development pathway.

Well-led is a practical leadership development programme aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

The programme is delivered through four interactive modules covering the objectives below:

  • develop a clear understanding of what well-led looks like in a care setting
  • develop a clear understanding of how leadership strategies and techniques can be used to transform services and improve the quality of care
  • develop the confidence and skills necessary to lead services in an increasingly complex and challenging context
  • develop clear goals and commitment to improve your personal leadership effectiveness
  • learn from the experience of others by working with them in a range of collaborative learning activities and networking opportunities.

Leading Change Improving Care is a practical leadership development programme aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

The programme is delivered through five interactive modules covering the objectives below:

  • leading and managing the process of change within your team and organisation
  • facilitating change sensitively and building resilience for change
  • successful leadership skills and behaviours 
  • managing hard to reach colleagues and those resistant to change to improve the performance of teams
  • coaching and development
  • improving personal effectiveness and time management

Understanding performance management is a practical continuing professional development (CPD) module aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

The programme is delivered through one interactive model covering the objectives below:

  • understand the performance management cycle including processes for managing different types of performance
  • understanding of disciplinary and grievance, causes of poor performance and how to minimise them
  • awareness of strategies to improve performance
  • awareness of managing and retaining high performing staff
  • understand how to give feedback and manage difficult conversations
  • awareness of cultures that encourage confidence, responsibility and accountability
  • understanding effective role modelling, coaching and mentoring.

Understanding self-management skills is a practical CPD module aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

The programme is delivered through one interactive module covering the objectives below:

  • awareness of the impact of your own beliefs and values

  • understanding integrity and how actions & words influence others
  • awareness of cultures that foster resilience
  • understanding emotional intelligence
  • how to deal with pressure and stress using well-being strategies including delegation
  • awareness of time management, techniques and tools.

Understanding Workplace Culture is a practical CPD module aimed at registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services.

The programme is delivered through one interactive module covering the objectives below:

  • develop a clear understanding of what culture is
  • understanding the relationship between culture, values and vision
  • understanding approaches for assessing culture and steering action
  • understanding simple rules for turning values into action
  • understanding nudge as applied to head, heart and environment
  • awareness of a range of nudge activities for developing culture.
