Due to the continuing COVID-19 situation all our events continue to run virtually.
Our top priority is to help local services ensure that they can provide people with the care they need. We do not think it is appropriate to divert staff time during this time of increased activity for the health and care sector.
We will continue to assess the viability of face to face events early in 2021 in line with current Government and Public Health guidelines.
Contact the Skills for Care events team for any enquiries.
Zoom security measures
We may use Zoom to deliver webinars and other virtual events. We are aware that there are some concerns around privacy in Zoom. NHSX’s guidance on information governance during COVID-19 is clear that any solution which allows communication between health and social care is fine to use right now. Access the guidance.
We follow best practice to ensure that Zoom is secure for our events including the use of passwords, lobby admission, authenticated users, locked rooms and the ability to not let participants record the event.

Virtual, interactive roadshows, where social care employers can meet and interact with their peers, share ideas and best practice.
This event will be an open discussion for the BAME community. It will cover the themes and topics that came out of our recent webinars including the recommendations of the COVID-19 Task Force and BAME Communities Advisory Group. It's an open forum to give you the space to share some of your thoughts and ideas and a chance to join your peers to discuss what really matters to you and what you would like to see happen.
