A values-based interview explores a candidate’s values and behaviours and assesses whether they align with your organisation’s values, culture and expectations.
This practical seminar highlights the importance of using a values-based approach and teaches a specific values-based interviewing style.
This is different to competency-based interviewing which assesses the candidates work experience and qualifications.
- gain an understanding of values-based recruitment and how it can be applied to the workplace
- learn to map out your organisational values to your values and behaviours framework
- use this interviewing technique to identify whether candidates have the right values to work in your organisation
- learn to develop a question bank to apply when interviewing candidates.

Delegates must attend both virtual sessions to complete the seminar and receive a certificate of attendance. Due to the nature of the techniques learned, two people from an organisation must attend together.
