Exclusive annual resource when you renew your membership
All members renewing their membership from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 will receive a printed copy of ‘Effective supervision: A practical guide for adult social care managers and supervisors (workbook edition).’
This revised and updated workbook edition is designed to support you in planning and delivering effective supervision. It also explores how supervision can strengthen working relationships, highlights the key attributes of a successful supervisor, and provides guidance on developing effective supervisors within your team.
The workbook includes practical activities, checklists, reflection points, and templates to help you apply your learning in real-world settings.
The chance to train to become a mentor, or receive mentoring
Our mentorship offer gives members who would like to develop their skills and support their peers as a mentor, the opportunity to join one of our mentoring workshops. Members are then given the opportunity to mentor another member.
