Overview

This workshop is for all colleagues working across adult social care, or advocating for people who are autistic or have a learning disability. It will help you to learn more about the proposed reforms to the Mental Health Act, and to discuss good practice in developing community services that can support autistic people and people with a learning disability and prevent unnecessary or extended admissions to hospital.

During the workshop we will be sharing proposed changes, highlighting best practice, and providing opportunities for questions.

This is the first in a series of virtual workshops and face-to-face events preparing the sector for the proposed Mental Health Act reforms. We will be sharing details on upcoming events shortly.
