Overview
This online event is for colleagues working in local authorities and/or social workers across adult social care for people who are autistic or have a learning disability.
It will help you to learn more about how the changes to the mental health act will affect your work, and how workers can get the skills, knowledge and insight needed to support people well. We will explore what makes this type of social work effective and what challenges we face.

- changes to care education and treatment reviews

- changes to detention criterial and place of safety criteria
