Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification

This page describes the level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification which Skills for Care developed the specification for. This accredited qualification has been designed to provide a baseline standard for care, reduce the need for repeated training, and give recognition to our care workforce for the professional career that it is.

Qualifications in the adults social care sector include diplomas and awarded certificates. They can play an important role in learning and development and there are a wide variety available within adult social care.
