Nightingale Hammerson/Care Home Education Centre (CHEC)
Nightingale Hammerson is a charity providing care for older Jewish people and serving the community for over 175 years. Nightingale Hammerson uses research and education model to deliver Person Centred Care in Relationship Centred way. This model is based on a learning environment designed to facilitate excellence in practice through empowering staff, leadership, a learning culture, competencies, skills and staff knowledge. We have been awarded the Outstanding Placement, the GSF Platinum Award in End of Life Care and our Outstanding CQC rating. Following our passion for learning and sharing good practise we have developed the Care Home Education Centre (CHEC). The CHEC offers a range of specialised care services and specifically tailored evidence-based education programmes to internal and external health care professional. This includes a mixture of formal, informal, accredited courses or qualifications delivered by our educators, mentors, lecturers and experts in the field.
