Northamptonshire EOL Care (NHFT)
The Northamptonshire End of Life Care Practice Development Team aims to make a real and sustained difference to end of life care, from policy to bedside. The Team work across health and social care providing; Formal and bespoke education sessions structured around End of Life Care Core Skills Education and Training Framework (2017). Education can be commissioned and tailored to individual organisation/learner needs. The current programmes include:- SAGE & THYME communication skills workshop(level 1), Enhanced Communication Skills workshop(level 2), Care in the Last Days of life workshop for support workers, Care in the Last Days of life workshop for registered professionals, Syringe Pump Training, Advance Care-planning workshop, Five Priorities for Care of the Dying Person workshop, End of Life Care for novice carers, Evidence based care in the Last days of Life and the Gold Standards Framework programme.
